Orphan and weakly-linked targets are matched to plausible source pages using stored Search Console queries and heading overlap. Anchors are drafted over that evidence, never invented.
Inventory in, candidates out
Every suggestion names the page it came from.
The candidate set is deterministic. AI ranks and phrases it; it never expands it.
Evidence-based matching
Source pages are proposed where they share stored Search Console queries or overlapping headings with the target.
Anchors that cite
Drafted anchor text is ranked over the deterministic candidates, each with the evidence that justified it disclosed inline.

No crawl, and the inventory must be fresh
Suggestions come only from a completed content inventory no more than 7 days old. This feature never crawls your site to fill a gap in that inventory.
Inventory pages only, and nothing is written back
Every suggested source and target is a page already in that inventory, and pages marked noindex are excluded. Nothing is injected into your site or your CMS.
Confidence is about evidence
Confidence describes the quality of the shared-query and heading evidence, never traffic or ranking impact. If the AI pass fails, the deterministic suggestions and their fallback anchors remain.
