Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of RankMeFast. Please read them carefully before creating an account.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise accessing the RankMeFast web application, API, or any hosted or self-hosted instance (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation and these Terms apply to that organisation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it current.

3. Accounts, authentication, and security

Accounts are managed through Better Auth. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, for enabling two-factor authentication where available, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

  • Sessions are cookie-based (httpOnly, SameSite=Lax).
  • Passwords are hashed with scrypt; RankMeFast never stores plaintext passwords.
  • Vendor credentials (e.g. Google Search Console refresh tokens) are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
  • Cross-account requests return 404 — never 403 — so resource existence never leaks.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Attempt to access another account’s data, reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent rate limits or usage caps.
  • Abuse the lead-audit endpoints or any rate-limited route to degrade the Service for others.
  • Resell or redistribute raw vendor data (DataForSEO, Google, etc.) obtained through the Service without an applicable plan.
  • Introduce malware, scrapers, or automated load that harms the Service or its providers.

Violations may result in suspension, usage throttling, or account termination without refund.

5. Plans, billing, and credits

The Service offers four subscription tiers and optional add-on credit packs. Current pricing is published on the Pricing page.

  • Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh). RankMeFast does not store your full card number.
  • Monthly plans are billed in advance. Fixed yearly plans receive the published 20% discount. A custom yearly plan displays its effective discount against 12 matching monthly payments, which may be lower, zero, or unavailable when required by the cost floor.
  • Plan caps cover separate metrics, including Content Intelligence analyses, inventory page blocks, competitor runs, and monitor checks. RankMeFast checks capacity before provider work starts; metered cache hits count where the product says they count.
  • Credit packs are one-time purchases for the metric named at checkout. A Content Intelligence pack adds analyses after the plan allowance; it does not add inventory blocks, competitor runs, or monitor checks.
  • Subscriptions may be paused for up to 90 days through the billing portal. Custom seats and limits are changed in RankMeFast. Reconfiguration, interval changes, and fixed-to-custom transitions take effect through a new checkout after the paid period, without mid-period proration.

All amounts are charged in the currency displayed at checkout. Polar adds applicable taxes at checkout. A custom quote is owner-bound, lasts 30 minutes, and contains no trial, coupon, or wallet credit.

6. Refunds and cancellations

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops renewal and keeps the paid plan active until the end of the current period. A custom renewal that needs a replacement price proceeds only after the owner accepts it before the displayed deadline; otherwise renewal stops.

Refund requests for unused time on yearly plans may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@rankme.fast within 14 days of a charge to request a review. Monthly plans are non-refundable once the billing period has started.

A reserved Content Intelligence unit is returned only when the owned page produces no usable result. If competitor collection or AI generation is partial after the owned page succeeds, the unit remains used and the missing parts are labeled.

7. Self-hosting and open-source use

RankMeFast is Docker-first and self-hostable. When you run the Service on your own infrastructure:

  • You are solely responsible for securing your infrastructure, encryption keys, database backups, and secrets.
  • These Terms apply to your use of the software, but RankMeFast has no access to your data and bears no responsibility for data loss, downtime, or misconfiguration on self-hosted instances.
  • You remain responsible for complying with vendor terms (DataForSEO, Google APIs, etc.) you configure on your instance.

8. Intellectual property

RankMeFast retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. The RankMeFast name, logo, and domain (rankme.fast) are protected marks.

Audit reports, AI-generated summaries, and rank-tracking data you produce through the Service belong to you. You may export them as CSV or JSON at any time.

Vendor-sourced data (rank results, backlink rows, keyword metrics) is licensed from upstream providers and subject to their terms; you may not resell or redistribute it independently.

9. Privacy and data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the data we collect, how it is encrypted, and your rights including GDPR export and deletion.

10. Service availability

The Service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, vendor outages, or force-majeure events may cause downtime. Critical incidents are communicated through in-app alerts or email where possible.

RankMeFast is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service interruption.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the data-rights section of the app. Deletion enters a 30-day grace period (configurable) and a final warning email is sent 24 hours before the purge. After the grace period, your data is permanently removed unless under legal hold.

RankMeFast may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that remain unpaid, or that pose a security risk. Upon termination, export windows for your data are limited to the active billing period.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. SEO rankings, AI-citation data, and audit findings are informational and do not guarantee specific search-engine outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankMeFast’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months (or, for free-tier users, USD $50).

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction where RankMeFast operates. Any dispute will first be attempted through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or the competent courts, depending on your jurisdiction.

You may bring claims only in your individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email (to verified accounts) or in-app at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
