Compare competitor content portfolios

Competitor Content lets an Agency account maintain confirmed public competitor origins and compare a bounded set of their pages with one owned URL. The result reports measurable differences, confidence, and source evidence without copying private content or predicting a ranking win.

Before you start

  • An Agency account, an added site, and an owned public page.
  • At least one confirmed public competitor profile relevant to the comparison.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Competitor Content

Choose a site, open Content, and select Competitors. This portfolio is separate from the organic competitor overview, though suggestions can help you confirm a domain.

  2. Confirm the portfolio

Accept a relevant suggestion or add a public competitor origin manually. Archive profiles you no longer want in new runs without rewriting completed evidence.

  3. Define the comparison

Select active competitors, enter the owned URL, add an optional target keyword, and choose the bounded page request. Off-origin or unsafe URLs are refused.

  4. Review and start

Read the disclosure for selected competitors and requested pages, then confirm. The server reserves one competitor-content run before it starts public-page collection.

  5. Inspect differences

Review page facts, topic and schema differences, opportunity types, confidence, citations, and partial-domain warnings. Use the evidence to form a hypothesis, not to clone a competitor.

What you get

  • A reusable portfolio of confirmed public competitor origins.
  • Owned-versus-competitor page differences with bounded source snippets.
  • Evidence-backed opportunity labels with visible confidence and partial states.
