Analyze backlinks
Backlink analysis shows the links and domain-level observations the configured provider has found for your site. Use it to compare sources and patterns, not as a complete map of the web or an automatic judgment about a link.
Before you start
- A Pro or Agency account and an added site.
- Enough provider evidence for the selected domain and requested view.
Follow these steps
Open Backlinks
Choose a site and open the Backlinks workspace. Start with the overview to understand the latest stored summary before requesting deeper rows.
Inspect link rows
Open the rows view and page through the evidence within the displayed allowance. Check the source page, target, anchor, and observation details instead of relying on one total.
Compare link patterns
Use Referring domains, Anchors, and History to see where links come from, how they describe the site, and how the observed profile changes over time.
Look for a gap
Enter a comparison domain in the Gap view and review the available overlap or missing sources. A gap is an investigation lead, not a recommendation to copy every link.
Review risk signals
Use the Toxicity view as triage. Confirm the source and context yourself before deciding whether outreach or a separate disavow workflow is appropriate.
What you get
- Provider-observed links with source, target, and anchor context.
- Domain, anchor, history, and comparison views over the same site.
- Review leads that remain subject to human judgment.
