Connect Google Search Console

Connecting Search Console lets RankMeFast use first-party Google evidence for supported indexing, search, sitemap, and content views. The connection requests the read-only Search Console scope, stores the refresh token encrypted, and can be disconnected from the same settings area.

Before you start

  • A Google account with access to the Search Console property for your site.
  • A RankMeFast site whose domain can be matched to that property.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Google settings

Use Google settings or the Connections tab in your account. The card shows whether no connection, an active connection, or a reconnect state exists.

  2. Start the connection

Select Connect Google Search Console and sign in with the Google account that owns or can read the property you need.

  3. Grant read-only access

Review and grant the Search Console read-only scope. RankMeFast does not request Gmail or Drive access for this connection.

  4. Choose the property

Back in RankMeFast, select the property that matches the site's canonical domain. A mismatch can leave site-specific evidence unavailable even though the Google account is connected.

  5. Verify and manage it

Return to the site's Google view or a later audit to see supported evidence. Reconnect when Google invalidates access, or disconnect to delete the stored RankMeFast token.

What you get

  • A visible, read-only Google connection state.
  • A selected Search Console property matched to the intended site.
  • First-party evidence in supported reports and workspace views.
