AI Visibility

AI assistants — the chat-style answers people increasingly get instead of a page of blue links — now decide what many buyers see first. AI Visibility tracks whether those answers mention your brand, point people to your site, or send them to a competitor. It is an Agency feature.

Tracked prompts

A prompt is a question a buyer might ask an AI assistant — for example, "best project management tool for a small team". You add the prompts that matter to your business. You can track up to 10 prompts per site. Pick the ones closest to a buying decision; that is where being mentioned is worth the most.

Running a check

A check runs each tracked prompt and reads the answer the assistant gives back. For every prompt it records:

  • whether your brand is mentioned by name,
  • whether your site is linked as a source,
  • which competitors are named,
  • whether the mention is positive, neutral, or negative.

"Mentioned" simply means your brand name appears in the answer. Being linked as a source is tracked separately and is the stronger signal.

Share of voice

Across all your tracked prompts, share of voice is the share of answers that mention you at all. Rising share of voice means you are showing up in more of the answers buyers see; a competitor climbing while you stay flat is an early warning.

An honest note

This is opportunity tracking, not a ranking guarantee. AI answers are generated fresh each time and can change between runs, between people, and between regions — the same prompt can mention you today and not tomorrow. Treat the trend across many checks as the signal, never a single result. Nothing here lets us, or anyone, promise a place in an AI answer.

Limits

Tracked prompts are capped at 10 per site, and each account has a monthly allowance of checks. When the allowance runs out, checks pause until the next monthly reset — your existing history stays visible. See Plans, limits & credits for the numbers.
