Local SEO

If customers find you by searching for a place — "plumber near me", "coffee shop downtown" — most of that traffic comes from the map results and business listings, not the regular blue links. Local SEO tracks the three things that decide whether you show up there. It is available on Pro and Agency.

Choose your business first

Local SEO reports on one business: the one you pick for the site. Open the site's Local SEO tab and search by business name, street address, or Google place ID. Each result shows the business name and address, so two branches with the same name are easy to tell apart. Pick yours and choose Use this business. Until you do, refresh stays off.

To switch later, choose Change business and search again. Your current business stays in place until you save a new one. Data refreshed before you chose a business is marked as older data looked up by your website.

Listing accuracy

Search engines trust a business whose details match everywhere they appear. RankMeFast checks that your business name, address, and phone number are consistent across the listings we can see. Mismatches — an old address, a second phone number, a shortened name — quietly push you down in local results. We flag each inconsistency so you can fix it at the source.

Reviews and questions

We track how many reviews you have, your average rating, and how fresh the reviews are, plus the public questions and answers on your listing. Steady, recent, well-answered reviews are one of the strongest local signals; a stall or a run of low ratings shows up here early.

Local map rank

For the keywords you already track, we also record where you appear in the local map results — the small pack of businesses shown above the regular results. This is separate from your normal search position: a site can rank well in ordinary results and still be missing from the map.

What one check costs

One local check refreshes your listing details, reviews, and questions together, counted as a single unit against your plan. Each business search during setup also uses one local check; saving the business you pick is free. Local map-rank checks are not separate — they use your normal rank-check budget.
