Traffic Insights
Compare modeled competitor traffic while keeping estimates, units, and refunds clear.
Traffic Insights
Traffic Insights creates a stored snapshot of a competitor domain: modeled monthly organic visits, domain rank, keyword count, leading countries, and history. Use it for directional comparison, not as a replacement for the competitor's analytics.
<!-- docs-truth: metric=traffic_snapshots; unit=one-target-domain-snapshot; cache-hits=count; refund=all-provider-parts-fail-zero-retained; cadence=on-demand; estimates=required -->Know what one unit covers
One submitted target-domain snapshot uses one traffic_snapshots unit. A multi-domain preview shows one unit for each domain, but each confirmed domain becomes its own snapshot. Previewing or cancelling the preview spends nothing.
Current monthly allowances and pack prices are on Pricing. Opening, filtering, or comparing snapshots you already created is a stored-data read and uses no new unit.
Treat every number as an estimate
Every numeric Traffic Insights field is labeled Estimate. The values are modeled from a search-data index; they are not first-party visits, conversions, or analytics. Missing values remain unavailable. A partial snapshot can still be useful when one part succeeds, and the interface shows that it is partial.
Compare views align up to five stored snapshots. They do not fill gaps or infer missing country or history values.
Understand cache and refunds
A cached snapshot still counts as one unit. A successful empty result also counts.
The snapshot collects several related observations. If all of them fail and RankMeFast retains no result, the unit is returned exactly once. If any usable observation is retained, the snapshot is stored as partial or complete and the unit remains consumed. A transport retry cannot return the same unit twice.
Choose when to refresh
Traffic Insights runs on demand. It does not monitor competitors continuously. Start another snapshot when you need a newer estimate. If an operator pauses new snapshots, your stored list, detail, and comparison views remain readable.
Open a site's Traffic tab, enter a public domain, review the spend preview, and confirm. For caps, packs, and refund rules, read Plans, limits & credits.
